About Colm

About Me: I am an international development professional currently based in Accra, where I work with SEND-Ghana as an Impact Evaluation Officer. My work is currently focused on issues of governance, public participation, capacity-building and advocacy. I am also interested in land and natural resource rights, climate change, and looking at development issues through a political economy lens.

I have an M.Sc. in Development Practice (MDP) from Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin, while my undergraduate studies were in Geography and Music Technology at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth.

On a personal level, I hope this blog will allow me to engage with and form understandings of emerging issues in international development. If it can also spark some discussion or offer some food for thought then that will be an added bonus!

All views are my own and do not necessarily reflect those of the organisations I work with.
